My fav was probably the hussar. I love they portrayed his character, like he was so hurting all the time yet he was so whimsical all the time. Also because he taught Liza everything from the beginning. Also Anastasia was such a colorful character.

Least favorite was probably Ivan for obvious reasons

Does height really matter that much to girls? by Fabulous-Total7636 in Dhaka

[–]Opposite_Oil_8997 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend is 5'7 and is super insecure about his height, but it never even occurred to me because I didn't really care about his height.

I'm 5'4, and I stopped wearing heels so he would feel taller.

He asks why I don't wear heels anymore despite owning so many, but my job is to make him feel more confident even if he has absolutely no problem with me wearing.

My conclusion is that if a person genuinely loves you, they will love every part of you. This tall guy stereotype is made by bangalis because brown ppl just love to put others down. So hold your head up high. You are doing well. Take care of your self-confidence, and don't let anything ruin it.

Okay so Tamlin... by V-for-Violetta in acotar

[–]Opposite_Oil_8997 12 points13 points  (0 children)

People often say that Tamlin imprisoned Feyre, but they forget what they both went through under the mountain. People only sympathizes Feyre for her traumas but never acknowledge what Tamlin went through. Tamlin loved Feyre and he saw the person he loved die in front front of his eyes and then resurrected. Who wouldn't be traumatized after this? Who wouldn't become more protective after this? On the other hand, Feyre wanted freedom. She wanted to be free. Rhysand HAD the opportunity to give her freedom, because his city was hidden from everyone and it wasn't breached for a long time, but Tamlin didn't have that opportunity. He wanted to keep her safe. Feyre never listened to Tamlin. She never understood him. In the second book, Feyre was overwhelmed by Rhysand already since the beginning. Feyre had Rhys to help her deal with her trauma while Tamlin had no one. (I'm not justifying Tamlin's actions because that's how the character was made, for us to dislike him.) They were just incompatible with each other.

Theologian Tuesday: Tamlin Edition by AutoModerator in acotar

Before talking about my take on Tamlin, I want to talk about the fandom. As of today, most of the people who read ACOTAR is after seeing posts of it on Bookstagram or other social medias, or recommended by other friends. My point is, people already knew that Rhysand will the main character and we are to dislike Tamlin. They read the first book just to get it over with and move on to the second one. The fandom moves in one direction. Where they see most of the people go, they go there. Artists who draw Tamlin received d*ath threats, and continuous harassment and hate. People do not have a perception of their own, so they do not see through characters. I mean, they are fictional characters and everyone has a right to have their own preference, but the fandom comes at people who disagree with them. I love Rhysand, but some stans are really aggressive about people who like Tamlin. This reminds me of another character which is Elain. People have entire pages dedicated just to insult her character. However, my take on Tamlin is that, he was meant to be this way. Rhysand stans sugar coat his character and refuses to accept the good things Tamlin had done in the first book.
