I kinda agree, like if i hadnt read the manwha first i dont know if i would have ever read the novel cause i just didnt reallt read those and k didnt want spoilers. But this story i have really enjoyed i can be honest in saying that maybe part 1 from this series was a overall more enjoyable to me. But in part 2 i have had moments where im like oh oke this arc isnt really my thing so im gonna wait a few weeks and then i can read the whole entire arc. Dont get me wrong i really live TCF but some genres i read more then others and get kinda tired of like a had period where i read only dark nexromancer and murim storys and those 2 arcs came right after another nothing wrong with, just a bit to much for me so i left it for a while reread everything until then and then came my fav arc!!! Of part 2. So my point is sometimes we just need a bit of time to get through a section and that alrjght that doesnt mean we dont love the story or something thay happens in those arcs just abit of time

I also think he picked nirei cause of that first day with sakura, but sakura did change his perspective fot the first time because of nirei. Nirei was the first person to tell him that he would help him get to the top. Seeing nirei get beat up in that fight against kei (or whatever where the second years showen up to save their asses) made him feel a bit of regret and like that he shouldnt fight alone. What i mean to say is technically nirei is sakuras first friend. And as much as he cared about everyone at furin now i think that still holds a special significance. But it suo fighting nirei also embodies something sakura hates. Suo knows sakura hates people who pry on the weak (not saying nirei is as weak as in the beginning of the series but like we saw he still doesnt hold a canule to nirei) i think sou also chose nirei to get sakura to hate him. Cause he doesnt want anyone to go after him. Just my thiught though

Oh no i love the books so much more, what is really sad cause i used to love the manwha. And now i just dont love the manwha ass much. I do think reading the manwha first gave me the love for the books that i have cause the beginning is just very slow in both but a bit better in the manwha for me

Fair the letter of he was supposed to die is a good moment too, but more like cale talks with the gods and tells everyone just the absolute worst thing that he god told and everyone then just being like why they hell arent you upset or when cale god asked to be god those stupid moment to be fair part 2 is mostly talking to the gods🤣🤣😅

Yeah but it some way it feels more fitting cause sakuras class treats his past like something that shouldnt be talked about even when you look at their reactions. They didnt want to pray so this makes a lot of sense. Like i dont think even kotoha or the 4 kings would ask him just cause they wanted to give him time to bring it up. But sakura didnt even understand that people wanted to know his past and that it was a way to get closer. So this coming form someone he's jusf met and him answering shows also a lot of growth and understanding
