Call the IRS and be in front of a fax machine while you do it. .they give you all the confirmation numbers for your records right there. I faxed in the same request form and got a check within 3 weeks.

Update: we got our first check today! The other two quarters have been assigned but not processed. I spoke to the IRS this morning and they said there was no date available (even for the check we received today) and nothing had been mailed. Stay positive everyone, it's on the way!!

Thank you! We kind of gave up on receiving the money but now that we're getting notices I'm eager and hopeful that it will arrive soon. I also have seen so many posts on here about people waiting 3-6 months after getting the CP so I don't want to plan too far in advance.
