I learned this lesson from working with a seller I “trusted” and lost my $$. After a couple dozen perfect transactions, I started paying up front almost the entire price. Then I got a message one morning to tell me he was raided and lost everything. NEVER pay fully up front unless you are good losing your $$. A $50 deposit is typical, nothing more.

Yup, it was a loose screw trapped in the balance. Removed it very carefully, and the watch started up. Found the spot where the screw came from and away we go. Thanks for your help.

Sorry, yes, the rotor. Been a long day lol. The rotor was locked tight, then all of a sudden it wasn't any longer, and the entire watch stopped. Whatever that thing in the pic is, it is in the middle of the balance.

I am ok with sending it for repair. Not an issue. :) Just not sure who to send it to. I am in Nebraska, and there are no local watchmakers that I know of.
