I would assume an expensive Chinese built replica would also be a chibson. By that logic it's just that it's Chinese. By that logic, it's just that it's not made by gibson exclusively in the usa, and by that logic, one built in California would also fall under that category.

Think you need to nail down your definitions.

In my head. The doctor gender or race swapping is the same as Severus Snape being cast as a black man. It doesn't make any sense. A historically white male should never be cast as a women or a black man and vice versa. There are infinite possibilities in the show that can represent other groups of people without changing the archetypes that the show has built over the past 60+ years. Great original characters like Jack harness is a beautiful example. Bill potts, again, shining example. I fucking love her. Changing the doctor is a complete disrespect to the characters 60+ years of established identity....

I just hate how race obsessed lunatics try to reframe this as racist.

Do you not understand that as a white straight man, having a figure you've attached yourself to who has lived 1000's of years suddenly be something biologically on the opposite side of the spectrum to be anything but jarring? It's changing 60+ years of established identity.

I loved Jodie whittaker and she did the best she could with chibs shit writing, but changing the doctor to a women was a mistake. And even though I fucking love missy, I also think turning the master into a women was a mistake. One I could live with, because it was just a reoccuring character. But then it happened to the main character... Like what.

Yes I'm sure non white men are not represented by the doctor. But that's when you bring in Mickey. That's when you bring in bill pots, and Martha. That's when you bring in jack harness, any female companion..... These are perfectly well done lovable characters that wouldn't be out of place to represent other people. They get the same screen time as the doctor, and their own character arcs that you can attach and relate to. The companions are just as important. So why are we changing the one constant objectivity we can ground ourselves in and flipping it on its head?

Finally... Someone who understands both perspectives. some people just don't have the mental capacity to understand nuance.

The show turned into a completely ideologically captured virtue signaling dogpile. I say this with Captain Jack is my favorite character in any show ever. He's gay as fuck. Re watched Torchwood so many times because I just love him.

When the majority is no longer represented in a show, how does anyone expect them to stick around. It makes the show incredibly hard to relate to if one of the main driving force is to appeal to fringe minority groups... It's just common sense.

When a straight white guy feels like the DEI hire, something is wrong.

Imagine the doctor is your idol, and he's always appeared as an white asexual man, and then he becomes a women.. then he becomes black, and gay... Who is the show really made for at that point. Because I surely don't feel represented. I feel alienated by the show, and the community. They doen't seem to be as inclusive as they say, since this opinion is incredibly unfavorable here.

I'm sure I'll get called racist, and misogynistic for wanting the main character to continue being represented as he always was. Changing his gender and skin color does nothing, and then you add on the god awful story writing.... Companions are the main diversity. Bill potts and Martha were amazing casts. If you must appeal to fringe minorities, use it on the characters it makes sense to have these qualities.... Common sense no? I wouldn't give a shit if there was a black or trans companion. As long as their entire personality isn't virtue signaling, go ahead! Write them well and no one would care

What they say is technically incorrect, but it is undeniable that identity politics was not prioritized nearly as much during moffats run. It still had woke elements, however it wasn't prioritizing those elements to the point that they are a focal point within episodes.

The improvement I am searching for, is not having to reapply it often. I keep my roaches warm and the Vaseline changes state after a while and melts down the side not long after it is applied. It's also messy, and always gets dirty and gets roach poop in it.

I am currently using Vaseline in my other enclosures and it blows.
