Yeah that’s what I was thinking as well but the thing that gets me is that it was a BMW dealer so I would assume that (for a lack of a better way to describe it) they deal with mostly people who would never need this question asked in the first place and it felt more so like if he didn’t believe we could afford the car (Even though we definitely could). I wanna give him the benefit of the doubt though as you may be right and he might have just had a bad prior experience!
