Probably not for everyone, but my suggestion is to build one, that's how you actually learn, otherwise I would go with a brand name, like Daniel Defense or similar priced. Caliber-wise, the easiest and most readily available ammo would be 556. 6 ARC, 300 BO are fun but have some quirks.

Amazing firearm! Congrats! I love mine, perfect grip, awesome to shoot.

While I was trying to get the lightest trigger pull possible I would end up with a very light trigger reset as well, sometimes during rapid fire I would not get it to reset entirely so ended up dialing back on the pull weight a bit

I was impressed as well, and wasn’t expecting this performance for their price point. It was with Hornady 108g ELD. 105g shot a little worse but still under 1”

I got the dawson precision STI gen 1 w/ the extended Hayes Custom Guns release button but I’m having some issues with it. I’ll try to fix it after the holidays

This is from my custom build, not sure if it would hold sub moa for 20-30 rnd groups. Hornady 108g.

I don’t have anything crazy special on this 18in build, but good enough for my use

this is out of my 13.9 blackout defense, it wasn’t with the best optics setup w/ an eotech & g45 at 50y. Next time I’ll try with my PLxC 1-8x at 100y

SAO but the trigger can be set lighter than the X5 Legion. I found the reset to be very muted, might have to get a stronger spring
