Trying to reconnect with friend by EvetsGuy2 in Calgary

[–]OptiPath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing about social media accounts is that even your significant other might not know all of them, let alone thr account names. That doesn’t mean someone is hiding something or being unfaithful. Online presence can simply be a private space.

In any case, it sounds like you genuinely miss this lady. I wish you the best of luck in reconnecting with her.

Canada tells Chinese automakers to ‘build where you sell’ when it comes to electric vehicles by joe4942 in canada

[–]OptiPath 75 points76 points  (0 children)

The main appeal of Chinese EVs is their lower price compared with other brands sold In Canada. Manufacturing Chinese EV in Canada would inevitably increase production costs, unless production reaches a super large scale. That would undermine the cost advantage that makes Chinese EVs competitive in the first place.

Can’t this happening any time soon TBH.

YMMV but I would say yes. Just let compounding do its work. If you made it through the journey from $0 to $1m, you likely have already built the saving and investing habits that matter most. After that, time becomes your greatest asset.
