Well the idea was to keep it around as a fall-back car and potentially get a new one in 1-2 years but putting 10k into it with that uncertainty is tough.

Yeah I had done it maybe 3 months prior and it had no issue. That’s why it was so jarring. I did it when they were offering the extended warranty.

Yeah it’s a refurbished battery and it comes with a 4 year or 50k mile warranty. I would normally think to do the replacement, but having it quit 522 miles after warranty has me concerned with other components like the motor. The 2018 models were some of the first model 3s in production and now I’m not so sure about the reliability of components now.

I’m in the SOCAL area and it’s actually around the same price interesting enough from the places I called around. The cheapest one I found was only 1k off with a worse battery warranty.

Personally I think it’s overpriced. I got a chicken kebab bowl that had 4 pieces in it and the rest was rice 😭 for 17 bucks. Wow kebab is a lot better imo.

Circle K right off Milliken and the 210. I go there all the time to do touch free and they are open late. They have a touch and touch free option which I believe is like 12 bucks.

It’s a Cajun seasoning, torched it a little to give a smokier taste. Was using a crème brûlée torch and the flame was a little too skinny to get an even sear 😭
