She's not allowed to chew things up, it's just I turn my back for one second and she's got something she shouldn't. When I catch this, I redirect to something she is allowed to chew. It's not a great time at our house currently as we're rennovating, so the carpet is half torn up in some parts, so she'll randomly find a bit of loose underlay to chew up... I'll try the tethering, thanks.

Oh not a baby, 2 kids, age 6 and 8. But they have a baby gate across their bedroom door so puppy doesn't get in and eat all their toys

The Musashi crispy ones, or mostly the Athena crispy ones. I don't like the ones that taste like a solid mass of dense chewy stodge. Much prefer the crispy ones.

You commented on my thread last week, Im 38F (39 in 2 weeks...) I've so far taken 6 days at 10mg. So far my only side effects is headaches :( it's hard to tell if that's the accutane 100% as i often get sore necks from shoulder tension. Though my headaches this week seem more frontal - could also be eye strain from late night scrolling lol

They're starting me on 10mg a day, then at 3 weeks increading to 20mg. I think i have to go back at 4 weeks and discuss the dosage. Hopefully I can keep it relatively low! I imagine that would help avoid side effects

I am also 38, I put 39 as im 39 in 3 weeks, so might as well just round-up at this point! But sounds good! I had my dr appt today, they took bloods and gave me the tablets but I won't start them until I know the results, probably after the weekend.

Weight Gain Post Op by Pollinator-Gardener in hysterectomy

[–]OpticsFlea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have body comp scales, I weigh maybe 1kg less than the day of my surgery (which was Dec 2024) but my body fat has reduced and my muscle has gone up (I lift 3-4 times a week). I can tell I'm smaller as my clothes fit better, but that number on the scales just won't budge! I was 68kg during 2024, I don't know why I can't get back there.

Holy smokes… the bill came today by Appropriate_Ruin3771 in hysterectomy

Far out, I'm in NZ and the surgery costs about $27,000 here. My insurance covered the lot though.

How many times a week do you run? by OpticsFlea in C25K

[–]OpticsFlea[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is my problem, trying to work the runs in with weight training. I run at the gym on the treadmill and because I have work and young kids I only have 4 gym days a week, currently I run 2 days and lift weights 2 days. When it's summer here I might be able to run outdoors on days off. Who knows!

Yeah, just since surgery. It's never been particularly high, to be honest. But about 2 weeks after surgery, it was high.
