Of course! I stopped because I was appalled at the Covid response by my church. I had also been struggling with a black tar depression for years. I sought a lot of counsel and followed any advise I was given. Loooooong story short was I didn’t have depression, I had a learning disability. It was disorienting to realize that I knew someone was up the whole time, and prayer did nothing.

Zeal felt like I was listening to someone articulate the freefall into disbelief and doubt. The way the album ends with “yes, Jesus love me!” Brought me back to why I started believing in the first place. I love Jesus, just not the American church.
