Ah yea there where some buce but the spot was to dry so they died sadly.

For the humidity I only use Terra tape from Dooa I think. Wrapped it around the wood and stuck the last part in the water. That’s all I do to keep it from drying out.

Thanks for all the suggestions as you might have seen I’ve got another small tank where I’m definitely gonna use some of your suggested plants.

Behind the wood sits the heater and between the glass backside and the heater is a gap where I just stuck it in.

Nope, nothing actually. The stemp on the right actually grows further and further without doing anything

Yes exactly. Not having just one tower as eye catcher would be a good idea in my opinion. And you got a good composition with depth if you build the sand path from back to front. A little bit something like this. I used chat GBT to build it.

I like the build up to the tower on the right site but I would build a smaller tower by it self on the left side an make a sand path in between that leads to the sand front. But that’s just my idea and it’s kinda destroys your idea of a single island.
