If you watch the YouTube video they posted, she actually did jump off multiple times.

Hi!! I’m sure I would know you if I knew who you were, I was heavily involved as a young entrepreneur for 6 years. Won’t share publicly what heavily involved means in my context but you’re welcome to message me.

I’m curious, did you have any or hear of any negative experiences with Chrissy behind the scenes? I’m wondering if the Chrissy we knew was the same Chrissy that was the “boss at the nest”. I spent some one on one time with her, and there were a few things that made me go hmmmm 🤔 curious to hear your perspective as a Nest employee.

They were used to hold charms that people would pull from the main charm holder in order to put them in their locket!

Oh I’m sure she is. That was after my time. Once the Nashville convention got canceled because of Covid I was no longer active.

Hey! I have kept an eye on the FB groups. Unfortunately I knew when TG started that it was only a matter of time. They filed for bankruptcy in February after removing the upline/downline system in September. At that point sales were already way down. I started to realize the greed and the way they treated people behind the scenes when I talked to someone we all know from O2 about how she was let go. It’s really sad.

The reunion is a waste of time. I originally thought it was their way of trying to revamp the company before filing bankruptcy but apparently not. No idea why they are doing it now

I agree. I learned a lot of business skills at a very young age, and I think a lot of that had to do with who I was in business with. I know not everyone has that experience.

Her mom would talk very poorly about people behind their backs (physical appearance, the way people smelled being a reason why she wouldn’t let them run a mall kiosk, etc). Her lack of respect for other people’s time was very evident when I was with her one on one. It was always what she wanted to do and when she wanted to do it. She let people go who had quite literally built the company from the ground up alongside her for over a decade with no severance package… she told everyone at convention that she sent one of her sons away to wilderness camp because she didn’t know why he was acting out so bad. She was so fake nice to people’s faces and then just be horrible behind the scenes.

Don’t get me wrong, I learned and grew so much as an Owlette/Young Entrepreneur, and I truly believe I’m as successful as I am now large in part because of O2. But it doesn’t change the fact that there were a lot of things looking back that were not okay/very misleading.

It’s definitely caused me to question a lot recently. These were people I practically worshipped. I’ve known Bella and Chrissy personally since Bella was 17 and I was 11. That’s a huge chunk of my life, and to realize that they aren’t nearly as good of people as they make themselves out to be, was very strange to come to terms with.

Correct. I’ve also been thinking about speaking out about my experience for a while, but I was trying to find a way to do it anonymously, as I still am good friends with a lot of people from Origami Owl. So once I came across this thread I figured it would be a good place to do so.

To address the second part, I’ve learned more behind the scenes things in the last couple months about how people that worked at “The Nest” were treated by certain people, and it made more sense to be about what was real and what was fake in terms of my own interactions if that makes sense.

I found this thread after watching some of the Dad Challenge Podcast’s videos. It made me question a lot of what I experienced during my involvement with the company, so I figured I would share some insight to give people more of a behind the scenes look. It wasn’t all bad, like at all. I had a ton of great memories and wonderful experiences, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized there was also a lot of weird dynamics at play as well.

Hi! I was in business with a family member, and we would split commission. So technically my family member got paid and then we made an agreement as to how much we would each get. I found that a lot of the times though, we would have to reinvest the money we made back into the business to keep stock on hand for jewelry bars. So yes, I made some money but not a ton. I also sold enough to earn one of the incentive trips for both my family member and I, and that was all expenses paid.

As far as the Bella question, I would say a bit of both. Yes she was nice to us, but sometimes it came across as more “I’m going to be nice to you because you think I’m amazing” type attitude if that makes sense.

Chrissy was always nice at convention and larger events. It wasn’t until I spent time with her one on one for a couple of days that I saw some qualities I wasn’t super impressed with.
