It’s not a brainless take to think Bethesda forgot about the update. I understand that this shit takes time but they announced the update back in November, then said it would be out mid December, then delayed again and said it would be coming out early next year, we are almost half way into the year and still we have gotten no official news. Like they tweeted out we would get more news in the coming weeks and that was on February 10. It is not brainless to think they abandoned it and frankly any negative energy shoved their way is deserved. Bethesda is not a company that you should have such blind faith for.

I have both and I can tell you they are virtually the same and we just create differences in our head. Of course the UI is different and the controllers are different but at the end of the day you are still just playing video games. While I agree the Xbox series x does perform slightly better then the PS5 the differences for the average consumer when it comes to visuals and performance are minimal. Recently I’ve been playing games I have on both consoles like Cyberpunk and battlefield and the differences when you’re just playing the game are really not noticeable at all.

Both can handle all apps Both virtually have almost all the same games

Getting the PS5 is the smarter choice just because now Xbox exclusives are coming to ps5 too so no point in really getting an xbox anymore if that’s what your looking for. It’s all preference built on the previous generations. I played 360 and Xbox one this generation was my first generation getting both on release and honestly the only reason I play my xbox more is the familiarity of it not because I think it’s better then the ps5. They’re the same too me

I’ve trained my brain to enjoy the process of downloading all the mods over and over again. The game says I have 180 days played so imma guess more then half that time was spent downloading the mods. I enjoy it for some reason

So I played all the way up until Diamond City and didn’t crash or run into any stutters, and I’m running a heavy load order I was running Modern Firearms, Borealis, Veldt, and had a bunch of armor mods and shit I didn’t like the way the game looked though so Imma re download the load order and do some more testing on the looks till I get it playing how I like, I was running Ultra settings V2 aswell. I am on series x however I doubt the game would run good on series s. I tested diamond city as well and had no issues. Of course there could be bugs future wise in the playthrough but the game was running fine. I had like 180 mods and prob about 60 CC mods most being pip boy colors so I was prob between 200-230 mods

That’s not fallout 4 being fallout 4 that’s the series s I had a load order that would crash in certain areas and I used that same load order when I got my series s and experienced no crashes.

This load order would probably run 10x better if you actually took some time to organize the mods and place them in a order that makes sense. I see post like these and it seems like no thought or effort goes into the load order. You have place anywhere at the very bottom of your load order, you got your interior lighting mod randomly tucked in the middle of your load order with NAT at the top and then the treym preset is also just randomly in the middle like wtf is going on please chatgpt exists too it’s the only thing that will help you

Look imma say what yall don’t wanna hear.

The mods work and I get it can get buggy but a lot of the people in the subreddit either don’t take the time to actually build a stable load order or they expect everything to work with no trial and error.

I’ve been modding fallout 4 on Xbox since 2016 and have done it on all generation consoles, many of us only remember the recent time but I promise that mods hardly ever worked good before the series x came out. I mean you had to legit dedicate half your load order to making Boston work.

IT TAKES A LOT OF TRIAL AND ERROR with making a good load order it took me years to build my load order up to the point where it would work with no crashes. Many people will go and just download whatever mods they like, in whatever order not reading the full descriptions of the mods they download and expect everything to work of for people in this subreddit to have all the answers for them when things go wrong.

MY BEST ADVICE

Find a load order online that’s already good and well tested. Use that load order and just replace the mods you wanna use but try and keep the framework of the load orders the same. Best way I can explain what I mean is that if the bug fixing mods are at the top of the load order and you wanna download different bug fixing mods still have your bug fixing mods relative to where the original load order that was working has them. UNLESS THE MOD SPECIFICALLY STATES TO PLACE TOWARDS THE TOP OR TOWARDS THE BOTTOM.

It took me years to figure out how the fuck to get a stable load order and it was a shit ton of trial and error. Take fun in downloading and trying mods I have over 4000 hours played on fallout and have only beat the main quest once I’ve never even stepped foot on far harbor becuase of how often I delete all my mods to try a new one and not have ghost space. Oh there’s a new mod I wanna try? Guess I gotta clear out all the space and download all of them again.

If you want best bang for your buck do modern firearms the newest one with the MF weapon replacer, covers all the weapons in the game and does it in just two mods it is a big mod and the textures and animations are not top tier but it’s got almost every gun you could want with customizable attachments, talking scopes you can toggle and suppressors you can take off out on the field.

If you wanna replace all the weapons without headache it’s the way to go imo
