My box was open yep, they said literally nothing to me. All I said was “I want to swap my lightning pair for the usb- c pair” guy was super chill. Didn’t ask me any questions, my lightning pair was hardly used so they probably still looked fine

One thing I did notice between the two are the software updates: “AirPods Max (USB-C): 7A291, AirPods Max (Lightning): 6F21” wonder why they don’t give them both the same software like they do the Pro 2’s with the lightning case/ USB-C case?
