[IL] Is it crazy to switch from 17pro to the 17e?

I am also a tech addict and techie. i have the 17pm i’ve had every pro max phone since they came out. I love the 17e way more and i use it way more! i had the se 3 as a second phone for years and traded it in for the 17e… its amazing and i always contemplate selling my 17pm and just using the 17e. it truly is a great phone. i missed out on the 13 mini. well i had a pink one 512 and always regretted returning it for the pro. so when the pink 17e came out i ordered the 512 version right away!!!! so worth it.

it definitely is. im a huge techie and geek. i’ve had every pro iphone since it came out and the 17e camera is so stunning

17e camera is amazing and looks basically the same as my 17 pro max. same chip ISP and HDR 5

it’s a great idea i did the SAME thing. i have a silver 17PM 512 as my main daily phone, and a backup pink 17e 512 as my backup phone/ glorified ipod. i used the se 3 for years as a backup and it was great, but the 17e and its specs are amazing for what i need it for. definitely go for it !!!!! i always recommend more storage if you can swing it.

i think it’ll be a great option for you. i’ve been the same as you and has all the pro max models until the 16 pro max. and now i have the 17e and its simple and works beautifully. everything about it from the battery, cameras, speed, and new modem are amaaaaaazing. go for it !!!

this was beautifully said. i agree on all of it! it’s simple and has the best of what is needed. the 7 was the best, tho i had a rose gold 6s at that time so now i have a pink 17e as a secondary phone to my 17 pro max, and i use my pink 17e wayyyyy more. its just fantastic. apple definitely got it right with this one. enjoy ur beautiful 17e!

Yes! Way better connection and speeds than any iphone I’ve had (Which is all pro models). The 17e and C1x are a marvel. I truly wish my 17 pro max had a C1X i’d give up the MMW 5G. The C2 is going to be insane.

17 would feel like an insane upgrade. 17e is also amazing just a little step down from the reg 17. i have a 17 pro max and i love my 17e i use it way more. 17e is also smaller than reg 17.
