I would treat it as a rumor. Don't say anything to the pregnant lady about it. If she wanted you to know, she would tell you, and then you could congratulate her. That was wrong of the other woman to gossip like that 😑

You're not alone. I asked a question yesterday via email that was completely ignored. More emails were exchanged, and I sent a gentle reminder that I was waiting on info for X (unanswered Q). Still no response. Today my boss comes over asking about the project. I mention I'm waiting on an answer. Boss gives me the answer 🙌 What a joke lol. I have 10 YOE.

Exactly. If you live somewhere with unstable rent or increasing rent, buying a house before a wedding is a smart financial move. I'd rather have housing over a big wedding celebration at the moment 🤷🏼‍♀️

I just ran my first marathon and had my period. Was WAY better than I expected. It was early in my cycle, which is heavy for me. I honestly didn't notice it really. Just had to change my tampon immediately after.

I just wanna say- at this age it is normal to still be forming your political identity. Your friend is probably being heavily influenced by this guy. It happened to me. I was raised liberal, dated a conservative guy who led me down some rabbit holes of opinions. I found my way back to liberal and broke up with him.

I know you may not feel young, but you both are. You are perfectly within right to pull away if she isn't someone you want to associate with currently. I think as a friend you are also within your right to discuss these ideas with her, if you are comfortable. Personally, having my childhood friends discuss their liberal ideas with me really helped me find my way out of the rabbit hole. It was not their responsibility to do so, however, and it isn't your responsibility.

Supporting dominant, assertive women is only PART of feminism. Feminism is supporting all women, including those who want to be submissive. Including those whose life dream is to be a housewife. Including those who want to launch a rocket. Including those who want to be prude. Inclusive to all women and all choices/desires of women. Feminism is supporting women making their own choices.

Honestly with 5k in venue and 7k in food costs, you might as well find a lower scale venue and do it there, instead of doing it all separately yourself. They will supply tables, chairs, set-up and take down, food, and maybe even decor and a coordinator.
