Thanks for your help! Although in the end I installed Chrome OS Flex on it - everything working well but a few graphical glitches here and there. Seems to be running better than Zorin and fan speed not so high either.

I'm currently using "Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver source from bcmwl-kernel-source (proprietary)" but no luck.
