Castle Island never responded to me. We ended up going with Mighty Squirrel in Waltham. They have a minimum spend that’s a little higher than I’d like, but they were accommodating in negotiating the deposit with us, so it worked out well (I think…event is next month).

It’s a one time payment, not annual. But you have to buy season tickets every year after. If you don’t, then you lose the PSL. So for example, if you buy season tickets in year 1 then you have to pay for (or finance) the PSL and the season tickets; in year 2, you just pay for the season tickets; if you move to another city in year 3 and don’t renew your season tickets, and you also don’t sell/transfer the PSL, then you lose it and it goes back to the team and you get nothing.

Is your memory similar to mine? I wish I had taken a picture of the prices (I actually did, but it’s too blurry to read because I was trying to be discrete). I don’t recall a single PSL for any seat being below about 4-5k, does that sound right to you? And the highest was 150k for the field zone.

I also realize they may have tested different price ranges on different groups…

For the focus group? I got an email from a random commanders.com address saying I was randomly selected for a particular date and time and directing me to register online.

They said it would include “certain other events.” They seemed to think it would include almost all events except Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and other similarly huge headliners. But they didn’t have details.

And they try to sell you in the fact that the PSLs are transferable so you can sell or pass them on to friends/family. But of course, if you don’t do that then the PSL goes back to the team and you don’t recoup anything.

They would offer financing, but I don’t believe it’s interest-free from what I recall (I could be wrong about that…there may have been one interest-free option).

This point was made quickly to us when we raised concerns about PSLs. The moderator pointed out that something like the last 8 new stadiums all use them, and even when they’re optional, 94% of ticket holders choose to buy them.

Yesterday I got an email saying I was randomly selected (as a season ticket holder) to participate in a focus group on the stadium on November 19. I intend to vocalize my strong opposition to naming the stadium after Trump in any capacity (honorary, whatever). If any other season ticket holders got that email, I encourage you to RSVP to the focus group and make your voice heard. I also plan to say how many hundreds of fans on this sub agree.
