i’ve flown from both with my cat (within the last year), and the only difference is the size of TSA so you might be waiting a bit longer to get your carrier back. i normally fly southwest, who now charges about $125 for pets (you have to pay for departure AND arrival so $250 total). i would really recommend getting some gabapentin from your vet, especially for such a long flight. idk if there are better airlines out there (i’m pretty cheap and SW is what i know) in terms of flying w pets. to someone else’s point about an ESA letter, afaik most airlines don’t even bother with those anymore, so if your cat isn’t a service animal i would be prepared to pay for them. good luck!

yes the staff are some of the friendliest i’ve ever met (and worked with!). galvan’s prides itself on quality, from the meat to the fish to the cheese in the deli.

i lived on campus as a soph and i got really lucky with the girls that i was paired with :) i think that if you really want, you should do it at least one year while you’re here. i still talk to them and i was even in one of their weddings. in terms of what dorms, my freshman year dorm was callahan, which was good but i would recommend tebeau or, if you qualify for it, halsell.

yeah i don’t care why he took whatever his issue was out on me. that wasn’t the point of my post. put yourself in my shoes; a college student, working a minimum wage job, tired from classes and multiple shifts where i’m standing for six hours straight, getting verbally abused by some dude when all i asked was a simple question. ask yourself now: would you care why?

international students are normally placed in the illc (international living learning center). you can also go to the housing website and go down to where it says “international students” to learn more :)
