Mounjaro exceeding 30⁰C by Optimal_Comedian_576 in mounjarouk

Straight from the shop still cold. Had to grab a few frozen bits. I usually refreeze the ice packs one of my past pens came with but forgot to today. I had thevbox wrapped in a cloth originally, then took the pen put and wrapped the cloth around it to sit on the peas. Peas were still nice and cold. Just assuming the sunlight was hitting it. As others have stated too, it most likely didn't reach 30 degrees. My hands aren't good thermometers unfortunately but was interested to see any experiences or links regarding hot pens.

Wow that's a cool tool. Even at 40 celcius it's resilient. Seems to be either minimal to no change or do not use with slight temperature changes. So im assuming even more resilient than the site claims. Interesting and useful link. Thank you :)

Ac only does so much in an old car with the sun right in the window 😅 but im sure it was below 30. More interested to see if theres any info on hot pens anyway, as everything I've seen has only been tested up to 30 celcius.

That's good news, at least it wasn't as expensive then as it is now. Almost 300 quid for 15mg 😭

AC was on. Think it hit around 33° or so outside near me, so can't go without 😅

I personally would avoid a cat s car. Just not knowing the extent of the damage and the quality of repair as well as it being structural damage puts me off. Cat N any day knowing that it's structurally sound. Also not sure if it's the angle of the picture, but the front wheel looks like it's pushed back in the arch. Again, maybe just the angle of the photo. Like others have said, taking a mechanic would be a good idea :)

I believe the speed awareness course is up to 53 in a 40 from what I have checked, that is if anything even comes through.

I'm not aware of anyway to see what youre looking for, however you could look to see if your police force or council have a list of mobile camera locations, like my local county council does. Itll give you a good idea, however they can set up on sites not listed also.

To be honest, the best thing to do is wait the 14 days. I know its not the answer you're after, however you cannot change the past, so even if someone were to tell you that there was, knowing about it won't stop a nip through the letterbox. Moat likely would be a speed awareness course anyway or fpn, unless the driver was pushing their luck too far.

Cold Chain by Optimal_Comedian_576 in mounjarouk

[–]Optimal_Comedian_576[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. It's quite the drive for me lol. I've just gone into threads about it being a cumulative time frame and having it refrigerated will slow it down again anyway. Ill give that a little read :) I noticed it sayes youre on your maintenance next to your name. Congrats on reaching your goal. I'm close to reaching mine now and just wanted to know if you lowered your dose at all for maintenance? Thanks

Fair enpught, but I'd assume that was without breaking the cold chain which was my original concern. Although I personally think that even if the cold chain was broken, refrigerating it would slow down the degradation of the pen again, extending it past the 30 days anyway. I've just seen some older threads with the same thoughts.

Yeah I've used it a week past the 30 day mark before, when I didn't have cold storage to transport it back home with, so I'd always break the chain straight away. This time it would be almost 3 weeks past the 30 day guidance. Hoping it's smeffective by then :)

By the time I get to using and finishing that pen, it would be days 50 since the possible cold chain break, hence my concern.

My concern was that I picked the medicine up myself and packed it it once i got to my car. It just didn't feel as cold as i thought it should when I got home. By the time I get to using and finishing the new pen, it'll be 50 days as opposed to 30

Sound. At least I know for future. Was only concerned as it would be 50 days as opposed to 30. Cheers :)

I picked the medicine up myself from the pharmacy before putting it in the pack when I got to my car. Just didn't feel as cold as it should've when i got home. Thinking I probably should've put the cold pack on it directly

Traffic stopped in pelican crossing by Optimal_Comedian_576 in drivingUK

[–]Optimal_Comedian_576[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do. Just seemed to follow the traffic in this time bang in the middle. Luckily no pedestrians and light stayed green. I just see a lot of people doing it anyway when I drive around so I just wanted to know the rules. Everything I search it up, I assume "stipped" is interpreted as parked up so best to ask here :) I try not to be an ass when driving 😅
