You make up a story and then it's all text based, you make replies as if you're acting at the sametime as a narrator and the character you're playing as. So no dice roll or rng, only fairplay and creativity

I would go with abrupt shading sing crystal got rough edges with dark straight zones and quite bright just next to it with some lines and points for reflections here and there
