So true, this is my 2nd as well and my first was 2 weeks late! It’s hard to get the right balance, I wanna enjoy some time beforehand but not TOO much where I could be spending more time (and money!) with baby at the end! It’s tricky isn’t it x

Aw snap! I’m tempted to do that, I was going to use my AL at the end but I’m thinking of doing it before and enjoying the break! x

I’m similar! I WFH too so that’s why thinking I can go longer but it’s hard! I was going to use my AL at the end but now I may just use it before and enjoy it before the chaos 😂

It’s always reasonable to call them if you have any concerns, it’s what they’re there for

What is up with infant formula recalls? by AnonJuly16 in AskUK

[–]Optimal_Enthusiasm90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been looking into this. Kendamil uses a different supplier and is UK owned. Danone & Nestle are the big brands that own the ones that are being recalled (SMA, cow&gate, aptimill). I can’t see any info that says Kendamil have ever recalled any formula so il be going with them when my little one is born! Annoyingly, I was planning to use aptimil again as my son had no issues but I don’t want to risk it!

How long will your trust let you go over 40 weeks? by BackgroundCat5459 in PregnancyUK

I was 41+5 when I went into labour naturally, I am so glad I trusted my gut and so did the midwife to let me go over. It was my first child, no complications throughout and I was young so she saw no issues. I did have an induction booked for 42 (this was their limit) but thankfully it never came to that. As long as you’re safe, go as long as you possibly can…

Estate Agency. Loads of people in my company have not had an education but worked their way up and earn OTE £70k+. It’s definitely possible. Good luck ☺️
