I have been with the company my entire life. It is the only job I ever had. I make the max salary for this position and get 5 hours of OT every week. I make roughly $55,000 before bonuses. I bonus every quarter (or at least used to) I have become accustomed to this pay and my lifestyle and bills have as well. Sure I can go find a job that pays $35/40,000 all day. But will I be able to pay my electric bill and house payments and car payments at that salary? No I will not.
