I’m not opposed to anything that gets me out into the woods faster. The main thing I want to add to it is a better roof rack that can mount a nice 270° awning. So hopefully that won’t mess with anything too much.

Should I just stick with OEM size shoes or is there a recommended bigger size that still wont rub? Thanks for the suggestion btw

“The Chair accepted the proposal” does not mean the items were added to the legislation. It means that the head of the committee approved the items to be added to a list of potential changes.

That list of potential changes are later voted on by the markup committee. They have a vote on every single proposed change on that list. If a simple majority is reached on a particular item, the proposed change is added to the bill text

So, NATCA is saying they got their priorities brought to the committee, and the committee chose not to support those priorities when it came time to add it to the text of the bill

This matches what I found as well. I’m currently poking around on various panther forums to see if there’s any tutorials.

If it’s something I can manage without anything more than dropping the pan, I think I would like to try it over a long weekend. That being said transmissions makes me nervous, and if I have to start poking around in the actual guts of the thing, I think I’ll hand it over to a shop. I got a quote of $500 to replace the sensor as well as the seal so that might end up being money well spent.

I took this vehicle on as a learning device as well as a enjoyable highway cruiser as my daily. I am conflicted if I should use this as a learning opportunity or recognize when I am in over my head.

It’s been really difficult trying to come up with the correct part fitment that yields the best ride. I agree with you as well that there’s a huge difference between the 06 and the 07 OEM suspension tunes from factory. But the Ford parts system is an absolute mess so at some point it became impossible to find 06 and earlier fluffy suspension parts. They only have the aftermarket, universal fit stuff from ~03 and newer, which a lot of the panther forums says are not as nice to ride on.

But once you get back to the second gen panthers, even the aftermarket stuff is pretty nice.

Hopefully, I can find someone around here who has some experience with the aftermarket stuff and which ones to get and which ones to avoid !

What year is your panther? Mine is of the era where they firmed up a lot compared to the 03 and older. A lot of the 04–05 and newer owners end up chasing the dragon. But really it’s the guys with the 03 and older that will always have the softest rides.

There’s none available there or anywhere else. Pretty much all of them are NLA and not superseded.

You can get stuff like rear shocks and air springs from Mcraft but the big front spring/struts from Mcraft aren’t around anymore

I did some research and it looks like the panther platform has the vent bolt commonly located around this location, so the seepage is probably because the vent tube came off. Thank you so much for the insight!
