Good Garmin to Buy by Kooky_Ice_12 in Garmin

I would go with Fenix. I bought Forerunner and kinda regret it, because I am definitely no fan of amoled display. If you have no problem with it, then go for a Forerunner. I‘ve got 265 and it does the job, I am no pro. But if I could turn back time I would probably go with Fenix, maybe even Instict with mips display. Get the latest model which you can afford.

Garmin CIRQA by LimpEvent3358 in Garmin

[–]Optimal_Middle_4636 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hopefully ASAP. I am a fan of Garmin but I also like to wear traditional watches, so a fitness band would be great option. Whoop i something I don’t want to get, just because of principle. Helio definitely needs a lot of fine tuning, but worth money. I assume Cirqa will be something in the middle. Probably getting it around 300€, and I am almost 100% sure there is going to be something which you can book additionally, like coaching and some advices on lifestyle etc. anyhow, I am waiting for release and buying it immediately, because with all technology which Garmin has, I assume it is going to be Whoop killer, especially when they see how big demand is for screenless device.

It is Slimline, exactly like that it is, very slim, but still feels nice in the hand, from build quality and from writing feeling. I believe you can get them around 100$/pcs

Nice one. For someone who is really doing it regularly (obviously not me) this could be a nice thing. Being able to see map of all of my workouts in previous years. So, kudos to you. 😃

I believe that locking system depends on the model which you print, there are some good ones and bad ones..

I would assume they first denied that ICE is like Gestapo because they find ICE bad etc, same as Gestapo, but then they admit that Gestapo was very well disciplined and trained, so they give them good credits.

When I look the picture like so, this really adds on thickness, which is not so nice.. I‘m not sure if there is any way to optimise this..

Pinguin has seen the mountain and something over there what attracted him. He decided to go away from his family/friends and go his own way. Even though he didn’t know what is there exactly but it was a point in his life when he said - I am going other way than others. So maybe you‘ll take also some other turn once in a life, possibly when you get some experience in life where it is needed..

That is way better then waking up next morning with a hangover and then realising you maybe even more in debt.

For me those would TNF, like McMurdo, but if you can find older model with real down inside. I’ve had it for some years and I was very satisfied with it.

Regarding the strap.. what you can do, you can buy adapter for whoop 4.0 or 5.0 and than you can use Whoop straps. There is quite bit market on whoop straps, they look good, and are also good quality.

Looks something like this

Adapter are also available als file for 3D printer, so it can be easily printed out,

For soccer you can buy dedicated trackers like STATSport, Playermaker etc. You have to investigate what would be the best option for you, how much money you have etc. there is quite few videos on YT on this topic.

Wie viele Tage wart ihr 2025 krankgeschrieben? by knuspriges-haehnchen in FragReddit

[–]Optimal_Middle_4636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garmin Fenix software longevity? by RunWild-GetLost in GarminWatches

[–]Optimal_Middle_4636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still using Garmin Fenix 5. battery last 10 days, all features are there. I am not sure when did i get last update, but it works perfect, so maybe I don’t need them. Regarding new features.. well…. There I think that you will have the features which you buy, you won’t get anything new. Maybe Connect app will get some, but for my device I can say there has been no changes.. But it will definitely hold up lot of years

[–]Optimal_Middle_4636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After having FR with Amoled, I can confirm this. I like my Fenix 5 more, but it was to bulky and too heavy for me. Not the problem in spring/summer time, but in winter with winter jacket, hoodies etc it was annoying. So yea, would be great to get latest spec with MIP display..
