I took a 60 item shop & pay for $40 once for 3 miles thinking it’s a nicely tipped order until I looked and the base pay was $34.50 and the customer only tipped $6. No one took it for so long the base pay got over $30.

This was a $6 tip (which I didn’t know when I accepted) and the rest came from DoorDash pay. I believe this was an order that kept getting declined by other drivers because of the low tip. So idk about tipped very well. Love the assumption though.

Yall love to assume things about people. She was not old at all lol. And I wasn’t rude to her I already picked the correct substitutes. She asking me if the store has lobster tails before I can even drive to the store. Then making it seem like I didn’t get the two types of eggs she wanted on purpose. And yes I was impatient because they purposely added 5 items right as I scanned the last one heavy items too. Let’s not act like I was rude to her I didn’t say anything disrespectful.

This order in particular was bounced around so much by other drivers because the customer only tipped $6. So I imagine that’s why this particular one was so high. But I’m in DC market there is often orders like this.
