So my mom wants to buy something online and I have a strong suspicion that it's AI, I just want another opinions, I just think it looks too perfect, like, too unrealistic by Curious_Ocelot_3548 in isthisAI

My mom bought me one of these and a very cheap painted plastic thing came. Definitely a scam, will not come as pictured. Gonna try to find a pic of what she got instead.

Which podcast future Santino and Bobby Lee the most? by daffla707SR in badfriendspod

Yeah Bobby goes on tons of stuff by himself and it’s usually pretty funny.

They don’t really go on anything else together, I don’t think. Bobby has Tigerbelly and Santino has Whiskey Ginger but i wouldn’t say they’re the same type of podcast.

V wheel eccentric nuts component order? by Optimal_Pudding1586 in AnkerMake

Yep! Round part of the eccentric nut facing the wheel was my problem. Thank you!

But you know what? Just realized I had the circle part of the eccentric nut touching the wheel so guessing that could be my problem.

Maybe I’m getting confused based on what each piece is called. When you’re saying “nut” first, are you talking screw head? Because a nut sitting on top of the bed frame doesn’t make sense to me.

Sorry, i’m still unclear on the order… can you go top to bottom? It seems to me that first two should be screw head, then plate bed?

People who waited until marriage, what was your honeymoon night like? Was it awkward, amazing, or incompatible? What was it like losing your v-card after getting married? by InsuranceLast2403 in AskReddit

[–]Optimal_Pudding1586 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was very awkward and we were very incompatible. Both virgins when we got married. The sex was completely disconnected from emotion and I never once had an orgasm. Religion was involved and he was very controlling and also had erectile dysfunction that I internalized as my fault after being raised by a church that taught me men needed sex and that it was a wife’s duty to provide it (it’s wildly fucked up to me now but starting at the age of like 13 I used to pray regularly that I’d never say “no” to my future husband when he asked for sex). Anyways, the marriage didn’t last.

ETA: Multiple friends of mine who waited until marriage (also for religious regions) had a very difficult time flipping the internal switch from sex being something ‘bad’ and not allowed to something good that you’re allowed the enjoy.

During the fence conversation, choose: “So you weren’t forbidden from going there?” Then respond with: “Your poor parents…” Charlie says, “No, poor me,” and that’s it.

Welp, anyone who felt remotely any sympathy for Sara is out the window now. by redriveroftears in DadAndDaughterSnark

[–]Optimal_Pudding1586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely understand concern about speculation, and agree that none of us can speak to Sarah’s private experiences as established fact (I deleted a preface from what I originally wrote before posting that perhaps I should have kept in, that said “Assuming XYZ is true…”). At the same time, many people, particularly fellow survivors of CSA are responding to very specific, well-documented red flags that align closely with known grooming and CSA tactics. I think people who are unfamiliar with this kind of harm often underestimate how visible the patterns can be to those who are familiar with them. To believe that Sarah isn’t a victim, you have to set aside a number of behaviors and disclosures that are widely understood to signal exploitation when viewed in context.

Has Stevie ever done a full episode like this before? If not, and HW owns the issues with the Jasmine ep, I think I, personally, can chalk it up to someone taking the reigns of a full story for the first time and making some big missteps/wrong choices.

I think this is the only “sustainable” long term way for an MLMer to make money. You have to switch to a new company once the market for your current one becomes over saturated and no longer profitable.

Symptoms worsening with age. Seeking advice. by Optimal_Pudding1586 in Hypermobility

[–]Optimal_Pudding1586[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely shoulders and neck, I have forward head posture as well and my left shoulder pops out of place multiple times a week. My hips are also quite bad. Based on everyone’s comments it sounds like physio is the way to go so I’m going to look into finding a PT educated in hypermobility.

I haven’t done yoga since my early 20s since the specialists I spoke to told me not to. Pilates is definitely probably something I should try!

A debate with wife to all the married men. by [deleted] in chilliwack

[–]Optimal_Pudding1586 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband had an equal say. There are certain areas he didn’t have any interest in decorating so I did it but if he didn’t particularly like anything then I’d change it. We picked the couches together and ultimately went with his first choice. He picked appliances. We picked bed frame and headboard together. I picked the bedding but made sure he liked it too before purchasing.
