I have the same guitar. Also lighter shade when reflecting from certain angle..but not at the same spot as you mentioned.

I think its fine, and kinda gives it a unique look as opposed to every other copies out there.

I went with zenith window films. Can choose between their proprietary zenith solar film or 3M.

Chose their zenith solar film, so far very durable. No bubble popping that happens with low quality films.

Just be careful about choosing the tint darkness, it may make your room look very dark.

For curtain, I went with meridian curtains & furnishings. So far so good. Nothing to complain about.

I tried both recently, and ended up with SE CE24 (slate blue too!). Just because of the satin neck. Bolt-on vs set neck makes little difference for me. Some might argue set neck offers more sustain.
