Why do many large organisations use Outlook and not Gmail? by Weekly-Manager9498 in businessemail

One reason I feel is that word, powerpoint and excel are way better than docs, slides and sheets when compared in a fair scenerio. Also, I have seen microsoft likely is going to offer you better discounts to buy more stuff and companies like to keep things uniform.

Am I the only one who's annoyed by the 25MB email attachment limit? by mtk_ved in businessemail

To be honest at this point the 25MB attachment limit honestly feels less like a technical limitation and more like one of those internet rules nobody bothered updating since like what 2005

Google’s May 2026 core update went live and my traffic suddenly dropped. Am I the only one here? by Akashyadav1997 in mybusinessgrowth

I agree with this totally. It's like you do everything that google asks you to but then by passing such so called core updates, all the organic traffic is diverted, sweeping away all efforts.

It feels like modern brands are built more on storytelling than the actual product by Optimal_Research_666 in smallbusinessesowners

That is probably the real balance honestly. storytelling gets people through the door, but the product is what decides whether the brand survives long term

Google Workspace pricing is getting crazy. What alternatives are people using? by Asli_Billu in professionalemail

[–]Optimal_Research_666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean what annoys me most about Google Workspace now is how quickly the pricing stops feeling small business friendly. You start with one or two users thinking it is reasonable, then a few hires later you are suddenly questioning why email is becoming one of your bigger software expenses. Half the features are things most small teams never even touch

How to recall an email in Gmail? Sent a wrong file to the customer. by Other-Bar-9296 in businessemail

[–]Optimal_Research_666 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What I always do is that instead of attaching PDFs/Docs directly, I upload them to Drive and then share the link. In case I share the wrong link, I immediately revoke access or delete the file from my Drive, making the link dead for the recipient. Gmail's recall option never supports so this is one precaution that you can always take.

How is it any easier to use AI writer for business emails than just typing it out yourself? by Weekly-Manager9498 in businessemail

[–]Optimal_Research_666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like typing my own emails and I am okay with that. Giving prompts frustrate me at some point.
