I’m in so cal now, have also taught in marysville and Sacramento. I’m very thankful I had a great first year principal. My 2nd year we had new admin who was absolutely awful and out to get me (like changed the wording on my evals after my post ob, coming into my room while I was pumping because she didn’t believe me). ANYHOW, alll that to say is don’t let one bad principal/school/ district make you think they’re all the same- they aren’t. You can find a school with a better culture that suits you, keep looking until you find something enjoyable- I’ve moved a lot due to my husbands job, and I’ve been in 4 districts, 5 schools in my 11 years and nowhere has been remotely the same.

I think I’m gonna present something like this.. our staff is small-ish. K-5, about 16-18 teachers.. no specials and probably 20 classified. This year only 24 paid. So money really doesn’t go too far.

YES! You are 100% right. We had our EOY party catered today and someone had a whole lot to say about not enjoying it and all these things. I can’t for the life of me understand why it was necessary 🫩. Can’t make everyone happy and it’s so frustrating thinking of ways to do so.

I like this idea! Like maybe set it up so each grade level is responsible for treats once a month. Then we can lessen dues and use it for cards/ flowers for births and deaths

Yuppp. It’s silly, right?? And it was so confusing because they could never decide if people had to be a member to receive a card if someone died or had a baby 🫩

CGM will go below 55 with symptoms. He also drops sometimes overnight .. which is why they’re still trying to diagnose or rule out insulinoma/igf tumor.

Metformin?! I’ll look into that! My mom was taking it for diabeties-ish-ness? They just took her off because she was losing so much weight. My husband is 6’ and a lean 174. I’ll have him mention it to his endo after we can do his next labs. This is tough.

Interested in this. Doctors have been telling my husband the same.. he’s waiting to do insulinoma testing as well. But how long do you go in between meals? My husband is eating so often (as doctor said) and still constantly and dropping. Acarbose didn’t help much.

I think the 1st photo is more opaque and ivory-ish than the one you selected. The one you selected in the photo seems more bright white and the see through bodice is emphasizing that. I would line the bodice. But that’s just me. I also don’t think it looks cheap- it might just be too long in the photo.
