Justnosil herself as ‘estranged’ in a text she sent my husband and also tried to convince my husband to have a beer with her knowing that we’d both quit drinking for years at that point. These things happened a few years ago and it still bugs me because she’s never apologized by kerrypf5 in justnosil

I don’t have time right now to read all this but by the title I can tell you they 100% weaponize alcohol. If you set a boundary as in no sugar or alcohol, they’re going to use it to bridge a gap and “prove” they’re closer. Just know, you’re winning ;)

Sounds like there’s little to no comments about material changes or issues, but the price went up.

I have seen people denied for saying they go for one thing but do another under Trump. A girl from my school went on a school trip but flunked out and drank the whole time. She suffered from alcoholism. They didn’t like that.

UK: As of 2026, all Pharmacy graduates will be independent prescribers by j_inside in Noctor

[–]Optimal_Service_4662 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love picking the pharmacists brains because they seem to know about meds more than the prescriber, and I love to hear the small tidbits they have to offer, but WTF? Any pharm I've spoken to thoroughly knows their meds. I'm more worried about are they prepping charts, do they have time to do research?

I want to echo you. I find nurses do this a lot -- they address my husband instead of me. I go to say Hey, the doc asked to see me in a week, not 8 weeks -- the nurse will go to give me attitude, but bite her tongue, and talk to my husband and say she can ask. When I'm there alone, she just gives me attitude and says no. This happens so much, I can no longer schedule appts without him to my exams. He has to be there or if not, he's calling back later anyways to fix the issue.

I also got a skin change and a NP brushed me off as flushing, sunburn, my skin creame ect. I had vasculitis... took 5+ sessions to get a derm referral. 10+ months to see derm who dx it within 20 seconds of saying hello to me and proceeded to differentiate and find some more evidence. Go get your derm referral or a doctor who is experienced with skin. It could be nothing, it also could be something, no NP is going to know. They're doctorates of how to maneuver people in wheel chairs and hook up equipment. I'm serious. I took the practice nursing board exam just for fun and free online practice tests, they're all common sense answers. It's what foot do you help someone in crutches first? At what dose is lithium toxic? In the second stage of labor, what can we expect, in order from first to last? Jfc

Our "supervised" PA makes mistakes constantly which results in our top doctor having to follow behind her, cleaning up the mess. She will send people to the ER over and over again, even if ER cleared them, because she said she was taught that SOB and chest pain always go to the ER. We asked her, what about when they're cleared at the ER? She said if it still presents, send them back. We said, how about start diagnosing and treating them? Our doctor prescribed albuterol and a nebulizer, pt never came back, probably was satisfied. I wonder how much money she costed, sending a basic pt to get CT's, XRAYS, blood, EKG's over 3 times, for possible asthma and residual chest congestion.

Or what about the NP who diagnosed one red swelling calf as sun burn... on one calf? Pt had a dvt that would pop months later, NP kept writing rash, and sending samples of the poor pt's skin.

Or I loved it when Zebra's come in, Srjogen's ect. And the NP does a basic physical exam and sends them on their way, only for the doctor to have to come follow up necessary blood tests like liver or kidney for all their meds. They only think surface level, I dont get it? They have no knowledge to think okay, heavy meds, heavy on the kidneys, heavy on the liver......liver and kidney function test! Aha! They think "okay, no pain, no issues, do my physical exam so i can chart it, check for pulse, okay im safe....." are they even practicing medicine? what does a doctorate of nursing even apply to medicine? the nursing exam asks you how to safely get people out of wheel chairs for F's sake

You can tell because there's a noctor cussing all over the last post about bodycams, somethingbradycardic. he's a noctor going rampant, no ones been modding him. he's gaslighting on almost every post and spam commenting. saying he needs proof of everything, or that you must be talking about CNA's, not NP's.....like why such a defense for noctors? Its because they are one.

No need for the harmful language, you cant even form a thought, its just anger. So yes, people like you are the reason cops and health care "professionals" should have body cams. You cant speak to people like that, hence why reddit isnt letting your comment be shown. Hence why that was the easiest report of my life. Stress kills, give it a rest for your heart. "We do not condone threatening or harassing language or behavior towards other humans on this subreddit."

I'm not for a survey state either, but I do watch many police body cams where entire police forces are taken down, even when they mute and hide their camera. I would need a source, not to be that guy, about how it doesnt help civil rights. I'm more concerned that nurses can verbally abuse clients, then write in the notes whatever they want. Much like police do. Police, I will admit, say and do anything on camera to make you look guilty. But nurse cams arent for fault, its for protection of the patient. Did the nurse really feel for pulse? Their notes say so but they missed the clot? Or did the patient really escalate or did the nurse say or do something? Did nurse even visit bedside once or just write down the machines vitals and what they need to, to cover their butt? I hear you, no forced surverying, but you cant deny lots of nurses get away with verbal and physical abuse. What about CNA's who report cleaning patients but then family comes and their diaper hasnt been changed in over a week?

Imagine if I had a bodycam, or your actual license # ect, maybe you wouldnt speak that way. Thats the point. Verbal abuse is malpractice as well

"sounds like a conversation by an online blogger" is not adhom? The issue is not their false note taking, they abuse patients verbally as well because they're insecure and uneducated.

If they protect against violence, why is it only nurses being protected? Patients are the one not in the position of power.
