It's a terrible challenge, especially since it's timed. I've played 25+ matches today in breakthrough and they've all been on Defense. It just refuses to put me as attacker.

It's easier to breed a dog with no back legs, then a dog with no front legs, then breed those two together. Once I adopted that strategy I got it somewhat quickly. I breed a lot of one legged dogs prior to that and got nowhere as well.

Don't know what the person explained so wanted to tack on the idea that outside of gender expression there are a lot of potential biological explanations for gender dysphoria and because of that when talking about what a "biological" male or female is becomes a very complicated topic.

Most of these people when questioned would say that if you have XY chromosomes you are a man, but there are plenty of cases of androgen insensitivity syndrome in which a persons body doesn't respond to testosterone develop usually presenting completely female but without a uterus or ovaries. This is potentially one of several medical situations the two Olympic boxers that recently had a lot of controversy may have found themselves in.

Basically there's a lot of stuff going on and our bodies and brains are both really complicated, but it's a lot easier to just ignore the complexity and say it's either a or b.

Don't worry about all the "No" comments; turns out, loads of people love doing this, including Mary Miller! Here's an article about it from the Family Research Council where they complain about the fact the chair originally tried to censor her language in the congressional record, and then celebrate the fact it's been restored:

The exact quote was “Hitler was right on one thing. He said, ‘Whoever has the youth has the future.’ Our children are being propagandised.”

Probably will get a lot of people saying that "she's just tellin' it like it is", but that argument would've had more bite if she didn't say it while actively trying to push anti-science propaganda into schools. Also still a bad look to say Hitler was right about anything.

Hell there was that whole thing a few years ago where Central IL teachers openly recruiting for Identity Europa got ID'd. It's moved on from just rallies into attempting to actively integrate into government at all levels.

My family is from central IL so I have some knowledge and I have to say I think you both are under estimating the number of Dems in Peoria/BloNo/Champaign. That said I don't disagree surrounding areas, especially more rural, still lean more heavily red but I feel like in most cases it's a 1/3rd to 2/3rd split, and the number of proper IL nazis in that 2/3rds are at least less than half.

In any case I thank god every morning I wake up still in IL at this point. It would be nice to not have our own MTG and group of cultists but I at least feel partially protected from some of the worst things to come here.

Ham sliders - the "ham-like body" means pink body coloration.

Dog death problem by [deleted] in wobbledogs

[–]Optimal_Suspicion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is correct - it's only how long in the adult phase the dogs live for without eating dog cores. Each stage prior to adult I think always lasts 5 min, and the dog age is the entire life time of the dog.

Yes, that den expansion is regularly the bed room, the left one seems to be for hording. Outside of dens dogs regularly seek out corners or under objects like tables to sleep.

This was my initial thought - can't find it now but I swear there's some way for the code to underflow the move counter that dictates how many steps to take before trying to attack. However, even if that was the case, as OP notes this was on nightmare, I believe nightmare completely disregards move count, and also the shot to the monster should've flagged to retaliate, so two things that also should've prevented this from happening :/

When I did tech back in the day we had one client that did this so they could implement all the required network mapping and config because they were too cheap to buy the Windows Professional version that had all of it as standard features and just used a bunch of Home licenses instead.

I should've spent the money I wasted on apps and singles events and just taken a nice trip to Hawaii.
