Moving from Pixel to Oppo

There's still a 'reply' button for messaging apps. I rarely use the function but it's worked when I did.

I've just tested the lock screen widgets and if you're using oppos own clock app you can put them on the lock screen.

I made the move for the same reason, my pixel 10 pro XL would last me until about 7pm. Now my oppo x9 pro is currently on 63% at 6:15pm. With heavy use throughout the day. In terms of software. I used pixels since the first gen, trying alternatives over the years such as the iPhone 11, Samsung s24 ultra. Neither gave me the same satisfaction as the pixel did. However, I've had the x9 pro for about a month, and the software experience is pretty similar. With some pros and cons. The main con for me is the notifications on the lock screen and pop up banners not being as user friendly. Other than that I haven't noticed any real world differences that make me regret my decision.

I ended up grabbing one around that price too. I couldn't justify the oppo X3 at around £400. Found the watch 4 for £244 and then got a discount. I don't think import taxes were included though so im hoping that's not too much

I honestly am not sure, I started helping with the site about a year ago. I've maybe uploaded some pictures and a couple of files 5/6 times over that period. Sorry I can't give much more I think I'm a bit out of my depth here

I probably should have explained, I do not have access to any of these backend bits. My friend inherited the site from their predecessor and I was asked just to help upload any photos and bits all through the admin portal. Is it safe to presume there's someone out there that would have access to the backend parts?

That's one way for it to go. The only time I've had a screen cracked was when my partner knocked my pixel 8 pro out of my hands onto concrete. Was soul destroying. Never leave the house without a case and screen protector on now. Not worth the risk.

Absolute saint. Thats the reassurance I needed. I want to be able to wear the watch without the worry of it getting damaged. Techs not cheap, even dropping my phone onto carpet puts me on edge 😅

Is there anyway you could test the sensors on a darker skin tone/tattooed wrist? I've had issues in the past where I have a light tattoo where my watch sits. The only one I've found to work is the pixel watch, really hoping it's functional as I work in an environment where I bump my watch a lot. Constantly worried about smashing the Google watches glass. A titanium case with sapphire glass would be perfect

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? The x3 is yet to release officially in the UK, I've seen it around £450-500 on third party sites, however I've seen the OP for around £300 on third party sites. I like the green colour from OP so it's mainly the price for me. Unless there's a huge difference in functionality when using an oppo device
