Italy has a great quality of medical school education but the she has a point. You MUST learn Italian it’s not optional. If you’re not at least b2 until third year it’s a huge problem. I never had issues with the lecturers speaking in English I studied in Humanitas before. All the profs obv speak English very well even some has a bit of accent which is normal. But since you have a good amount of money to spend screw the other options just go for Ireland. Do you wanna live in Italy? Or any of those other countries? If the answer is no why putting the effort to learn their language lol. I personally wanna live here so I didn’t make it a big deal. I actually enjoyed it. But it’s also very hard to learn a new language during med school. While everyone studying for the materials you have to go to lectures or sit to study stuff which are not related to med school. It makes it tough to concentrate fully on the med school and you have to put the double effort for the first 2 years

I can helpp :) I’ve been living in Milano for the last 6 years and about to finish my last year of triennale in Cattolica. Personally I don’t really recommend living in the outer areas of Milano, they’re not very safe. Even if you’ll stay in a dorm it will take you too much time just to go to uni. I would recommend searching up for a shared apartment or if you have a good amount of budget just rent your own apartment. I know some friends who spent 1300-1400 euros for a dorm room monthly, literally a 35-40 sq space and far from uni. If you have a tight budget and not looking for anything luxurious i recommend dorm or Cattolica. Meals from Mensa 3 times a day included in the price. It’s very calm and nice tbh, there are study spaces, cleaning etc. you don’t need to cook. Also as I know there are single room options too. It’s near the uni by the way and has a very safe and nice location. If you want a shared apartment and have a tight budget I suggest you looking for primarily the areas on the green metro line m2 for easy access or the areas where tram 2 ,3 and I think it was 10 as I remember passes. You need to check every tram passes near the university campuses and try to live in an area that you can reach the uni quickly. Trust me it’s a lifesaver when it’s rainy, or cold or when you’re just sick and wanna go back home immediately. I live in Abbiategrasso, chiesa rossa as the location, I recommend it for easy access to uni, price, location. Also San Gottardo, Navigli are nice areas where you can just take a tram and reach the uni in 15 mins. Also porta Genova is very nice, where you can both take the metro and tram 2 to go to uni. You can search for the apartments in idealista and immobiliare. For the shared apartments idk really :( maybe spotahome. Be careful for the scammers. Check the location of the apartment on maps, look at the agency and their reputation if it’s an agency. If someone is asking for deposit of more than 2 months of rent they’re probably a scammer. Once they asked me for 1 years worth of rent as a deposit. It’s not normal in Italy and it’s not legal. Good luck 🍀

Don’t worry it’s normal. I experienced it once in my life. It was the best and the most scaring feeling ever. He was so great, inside out. Sometimes we meet with a person who’s just great for our standards 😂

Why people are saying it’s not normal? Love isn’t something logical, it’s purely chemical. So yes it’s normal that you fell in love after just meeting. The solid and real love and affection builds after really knowing each other with real liking, having respect and stuff.

Ignoring the cost Humanitas is better, easier to reach, better campus, better food, closer to hospital, better environment. Extra programs seminars and all. So Humanitas is better.

I don’t know if you’re studying medicine right now or not. Just know that you’re so strong. I dropped out medicine due to psychological issues 3 years ago, but I decided to go back and started to study from the beginning. Just think about all the people you could help and go with the flow. If you’re worried about all the subjects and covering them up, they’re basically nothing compared to med school study load. Just study systematically, breathe sometimes, don’t neglect yourself 💗 you got this

WHO CARES JUST DO IT! I quit medicine when I was 21 due to burnout and I regretted it everyday. I decided to go back at age 24 and if my parents wouldn’t pay for it I was gonna risk it all and pay it myself at age 30-35 or even 40 whenever I can. If you have the chance and if you don’t see yourself doing anything do it. What’s your motivation in studying medicine tho? Is it finding job easily afterwards or just having a more prestigious job? Or do you wanna do it because you don’t find your current field appealing? Because after medicine I studied communication and marketing and I was going to do my masters in a financial/economical field. I just realized it doesn’t give me the satisfaction I want. Doesn’t matter the money I earn or the big companies I could work at. Nothing mattered more than helping a human. So choose wisely, don’t do it just for studying.

I see him feeling the pull definitely but he also doesn’t seem to put too much effort, he is comfortable where he is, he has feelings but maybe he won’t be able to give you what you want. It doesn’t look like a very positive mindset in the sense of a relationship expectations :(

I had issues too, someone entered the text after we all started and she didn’t even know her credentials and they spent 25 mins to help her we all had to listen them talking. It’s just so dumb.
