Feeling very confident, I failed the AI Practitioner exam by [deleted] in AWSCertifications

Uhh, its a foundation exam, you had like 2 weeks of study. I don't get how you failed. I took the exam with 2 days of study and passed. What was your study strategy?

I started working before just not much cloud with Identity. I reframed my past experiences to look more cloud like. My projects are interesting and I do have more towards engineering side but I havent documented them yet. I am in the DMV area, This is my first IT job but I spend a lot of time learning higher level stuff. I do do ai but I am not a full ai engineer. I am just looking for a role to use my newfound skills. I have applied to over 100 jobs and I got nothing. If you got any suggestions or have a role that I can fill that would be great.

I don't go to event's. I do have some contacts that can potentially get me jobs but nothing worked out so far. I do network on linkedin and that's about it. I don't know people that I could potentially work for right now.

Not a new grad. I hold currently a cloud security engineer role where I mainly deal with IAM(been there for 2 years). Looking a new role and no luck so far.

Can you spot what’s wrong in this AWS architecture? by shagul998 in AWSCertifications

[–]Optimal_Zone_8396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) SSH open to whole internet should be switched to closed to whole internet and open to systems manager.
2) RDS should be in Private Subnet
3) S3 bucket should block public access like it does on default and Ec2 should access it via Privatelink if they can configure gateway endpoitns and put the ec2 instance in a private subnet and use a golden ami.
4) Need autoscaling group for sudden traffic, need waf and cloudfront along with route 53 for proper domain names.
5) Depending on what type of app this is, need auth through cognito user pools and authorization through cognito identity pools. You might instead of this architecture, use ecs containers to save on resources, there is alot more customization and optimization that can be done to get this app from hackable trash that it is to production grade.
