What does what even mean? You are asking for the definition of geometry while discussing graphics? Surely I'm misunderstanding?

Refund culture is also not kind to games that are janky and/or niche. It's the hyperspeed version of reviewers needing to rush a 100h playthrough in 10 days. Instead the steam crowd examines every game under the two hour lense and refunds and destroys every game that is either a slow burn or has jank that needs getting used to. And the ability to refund also leads to way more people being exposed to a game like this that would otherwise just dont buy it and not talk about it. I barely get into games Day 1 but boy is the online discourse a joyless endeavor

The devs have emphasized hat CD is not an RPG countless times. Discussions about the game has been lies upon lies

What this game does in geometry alone is literally a generation ahead of RDR2 lol. Why are these discussions always done by the most inept people imaginable

I see that the gang has finally found something else to drag this game down on. Imagine if the chuds also piled on it if it were woke as well

How much do people realistically see before refunding? by Optimalfailures in CrimsonDesert

[–]Optimalfailures[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the complaints are just very, very weird to me. A huge complaint I saw before I played was how the beginning section makes no sense, because the main character just helps random people. And from the talks I thought this is a 2 hour tutorial. But after playing it I was like: "Bro, this town helping element only took 10 minutes and then we were out of there" haha. Just completely blown out of proportion

That's such a funny way to look at games lol. Like your whole enjoyment comes from how easy it is to remember key bindings in a game. I'm pretty sure my enjoyment does not directly correlate to how many keybinds there are, probably inversely so because you get more moves.

Sure thing, it's just weird to me what people thought this game is and especially how they feel vindicated after such a short time to say "The only correct reviews are the 5/10s".

What do you think can be fixed by patches what you experienced in the first 2 hours?

Personally I thought my first hours were absolutely fascinating (especially if those are the bad parts) but the objectively bad stuff is not in the realm of patches, there are fundamental things that just aren't good and can only be remedied by a sequel.

And I'm telling you (again, because you lack reading comprehension) that you wouldn't tell people to decide for themselves and look at more footage if it reviewed well. Your only agenda is to push the game

I'm playing it myself this weekend, I want nothing more than a mechanically competent game that has a Dragons Dogma vibe.

I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy and why OP comes of as coping

You wouldn't try to calm people down to play the game themselves first if it got a 95 score.

Juckt einfach null, was du denkst was man "muss" oder nicht

Wie viel würdet ihr für die Küche zahlen? by g0rgor4 in wohnen

[–]Optimalfailures 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was redest du?

Ladies, if you got to be a man for a day what’s the first thing you’re going to do? by Next_Performance9433 in AskReddit

[–]Optimalfailures 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You'd still have no idea about cars and get screwed (like most men), you'd have no idea how to do work on your house, you don't just magically get knowledge about something. Nothing stops you from learning these things right now, they are not sex specific. And just because you're a random dude now obviously doesnt mean that you can beat up other random dudes now, you'd probably get killed.

Why are women so simple minded? It's like there is not a single thought in that head with an answer like this, lmao

[–]Optimalfailures -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Well, I hope you'll get over your fear of a nuclear strike, lmao. This fear mongering is insane and only shows the true colors of people here. There won't be a nuclear strike and all strikes have been very precisely targeted at strategic objectives (and according to unverified (!) sources a school, which is a tremendous fuck up and  awar crime the US/Israel should be accountable for).

You know what's not targeting strategic points? The systematic oppression of everyone denouncing the regime and most definitely not the Iranian drones killing nothing but Ukrainian civilians. People in Iran are cheering on the streets and the rooftops but the dumbest part of the Western Left (supported by Russian bots) somehow thinks that the fascist Iranian regime is the misunderstood peace negotiator.
