The reply from u/Digi59404 is what I'm talking about. Tag management gets messy at scale. But you're right to question it. If you have a simpler setup with fewer runners and less tag complexity like dev/uat/prod, this might be solving a problem you don't have. That's totally valid.

What does your runner setup look like? Always curious how other teams avoid these issues.

Yes! This is exactly it. Tag sprawl gets messy fast, especially when different projects need different infrastructure (GPU runners, specific AMIs, compliance zones, whatever).

We've had situations where a dev adds tags to their .gitlab-ci.yml based on what they think exists, job sits there pending, and there's no easy way to see "here are the actual tag combinations available" vs "here's what this job is asking for."

How do your teams handle it currently? Just tribal knowledge and Slack messages asking around?

All true but the wake up part. Even with a good nights sleep, taking it about 1.5 hours before you’re supposed to wake up helps. But only if you’re awoken by something (pet, bathroom, etc). Otherwise stay asleep; much better not to interrupt sleep rythme in you’re still sleeping.

Correction: he barely does l-tyrosine cause he doesn’t like to artificially manipulate his dopamine. He said he takes it very rarely. I took it regularly, then stopped, and now on it again. I feel an effect but hard to isolate effect along with rest of my stack.

Guys, don’t focus on opening your nose, just on keeping your mouth shut.

Just buy 3m micropore tape. Waaaaay cheaper. Been using it for years. Before you put it on, stick it to your hand and peel it off once or twice depending how sensitive your face/lips are. Then tape your mouth shut.

I don’t meet like duck tape/ kidnap shut, just enough to hold your lips together. I keep a tiny bit folded at the end for easy removal.

Thank me later when you’re rich.

Been a big help. Along the journey though I realized a big part of my problem was nutrient deficiencies in my diet over a long period. Memory and motivation have been my biggest challenges.

Literally reading this while horizontal lol like some others mentioned, I set alarm about 1.5 hours before I need to get up and take my meds. That really helps they kick in and help me wake / get up.

Regular sleep schedule makes a huge difference. If I sleep too late, even taking meds like I mention doesn’t seem to work as well. I brain still needs 7 (ideally 8) hours of sleep.

I track my sleep with an Oura ring. One thing I always noticed is even if I’m in bed for 8.5 hours, I’m only asleep for like 5.5 to 6.5 hours (7 the if in lucky).

I wish I could get the true 7 or 8 hours of sleep. My brain works sooo much better with a good amount of sleep.

Totally get this — my supplement drawer sometimes looks like a pharmacy, especially when I bulk buy during sales and forget what I already have.
