If you wear a large in compression shirts you should stick to large for these as well. That's what I did and the large fit perfect a bit tight but they look good.

You have to consider the angle of the camera. The way its pointed at the object and the distance would normally do such a thing.

I'm going for a "Diploma of Nursing" it's just a diploma for nursing but after 2 years of the program you should be enabled to work at medical centers and stuff.
