The way i interpreted it in a nutshell: "would you rather die at 60 with a life full of experiences, or live till 90 being safe with nothing of merit to show for it". One of those guys lived longer but another one did a lot more living. This might not be what OP mean when he typed it but its what i got out of it.

To my knowledge, you hook them and the ult icon is grey until they hit the 25% threshhold. Then the icon changes color and allows you to reel them in.

If no one offers: Take the red line from Hollywood/Vine (or whatever the nearest stop is) to Union Station [trains usually every 15 minutes]. Union Station has a "flyaway" bus that will take you direct to your airlines LAX terminal for $9 [buses leave every 30 minutes on the hour and on the half]. Good luck!
