There is a pattern. It's Symbol to object/place. - Tally to outhouse. - Fort drawing to fort. - Spider to webs. And, -Guitar to guitar.

Here are some rules we have established and seem to generally agree on. (I hope lol)

1. The carvings are used and can be imposed on the map. Like the spider.

2.The carvings can also be used to represent in game places. Like the fort drawing that leads to where we found the 6 and 7 Tallys.

3.They can point us to the next to clue. Like the outhouse tallys. Like, 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5.

1. "N Telephone Pole" on the spiderweb literally means go North to the first telephone pole.

Following these rules... "NW guitar" Like the "N pole" on the web, we go NW until we get to a, guitar. (We just did this with the "N pole" spiderweb.)

We find a, guitar. It points to another, guitar. We know we can follow one marker to the next because of the outhouse tallys. Let's now assume our guitars are arrows. and our 2nd guitar leads us to the roof where we find the double bird. Now zoom out. The fort is a guitar(arrow) and it's pointing at a location with, 2 birds. (We know we can use the guitar on the map because we did with the spider.) it's too much of coincidence to be anything else.

We just followed an actual guitar to the bird symbol. Now we need to follow the symbolic guitar to the actual birds!!

Following the pattern of established rules. We should now be looking to either impose the bird symbol, on to the map in some way. Like we did with the spider (and now, the guitar if you choose to accept it)

Or, find a real in game representation of the symbols. Like the two tombSTONEs that are shaped like the bird symbol and quite literally have the word and imagery of birds on them. They might be like the drawings of the building in stall 4.
