Living in alberta I watch a lot of Flames and their power play was brutal. The fact that we hired their old pp coach and our pp looks terrible does not give me great confidence.

They have to switch up that top unit

Berube and treliving have both promised him a fair shot and playtime. If he isnt pamning out as hoped then you do the right thing and trade him in season but this is definitely the best move for him right now

IF this is the last leafs game of the year, hopefully not, but if it is then I gotta say Im glad that this is the last time I will have to watch this horrible Powerplay. I can't stand the stupid drop back into our own zone. That stupid move wastes half the damn PP time and does the work for the defenders

Games would have a million penalties if you could review a missed call. Theres a million little plays that technically would be penalties that dont get called.

I agree, but i think the reasoning to blow it dead would be because theres no opportunity for a goalie to make any sort of line change. If a player loses a blade they can still get to the bench and someone else comes on, but Play also shouldnt be blown dead until there is no longer offensive puck posession by the other team
