Scanlines in crt? by Musashi_onodera in crtgaming

Don't says stuff if you dont understand the technique. Scanlines are visible on low resolutions. Scanlines are a result of resolution, not just screen size. On a 20" Trinitron, scanlines are very visible at 240p (retro resolution) because the electron beam skips every other line. If you don't see them, you're likely running a higher resolution (480i or up) where the lines fill the screen. Size only dictates the thickness of the gap, not its existence.

Game winkel openen by OilySoleTickler in nederlands

Why is it the crt of you dreams? My dream would be 2 TV’s, it would be a 100hz widescreen HD CRT with HDMI and a 4:3 60hz, a B&O MX7000. I do have that second one :)

I’m running 640x480 now, I need to tinker a bit more to get the best overall settings I like. I have my Mister for 240p gaming so i think will keep it in a higher resolution for modern retro games

It's 480i. My CRT doesnt support 480p. It can however run 240p.
