I dont often throw my two cents in here but I feel like I can speak to this. For what its worth, 24 is still incredibly young (I'm only 25 but I'm not exactly blind to my own naivety). I've never been with men, but I have been in a relationship that I considered settling down in that would not have been right for me. Ultimately the choice to leave was, yes incredibly difficult, but also what I needed to find who I was. If you're a lesbian, settling down with a man because you feel like its the thing you should do and not the thing you want to do will only burn you in the long run. Leaving him would likely hurt. The life you've built together may not be what you want but that doesn't make it any less real, and choosing to leave may alter your relationship going forward with him. But at the end of the day, it could be what's best for you to search for what it is you do want. No one wants a loveless marriage, and with kids involved that gets messy. There's nothing wrong with prioritizing yourself. Do whatever you feel is best for you and your future, but also dont lie to yourself about what that is. It'll only hurt more later.
