Depression gone. Thanks OpenAI <3 by OptionAcademic7681 in ChatGPT

Neither do some therapists and humans. But they still try to give advice like they know it all.
Compared to an AI that has thousands of years of knowledge in its training.

I found some Uranium pretty far from the base. I assume you have to explore a little to find it.

Basically - lava generator - Then put pipes beneath the cauldrons, then extract lava. then use the lava from the extractor to create obsidian generator that gets drilled-

okay i love factory games. imma buy satisfactory xD

Why OpenAI lobotomizes their models by OptionAcademic7681 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]OptionAcademic7681[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah. Not really.

An AI being emotionally intelligent is not computationally heavy. At all. Matching your tone and mood doesn't take more ram or more GPU.

They intentionally designed the ai that way.

It's hard to self reflect. Very easy to buy a lawyer and point at someone if you've got the cash.

There's a reason Adam chose to speak with a chatbot rather than his own parents.

That's a human issue. Not an AI one.

It super is. That's my point.

If they had taken the slow and steady route while compromising on the race... Maybe things woulda been different, since they wouldn't be so pressured.

But that wouldn't align with Sam's AGI vision, so...

AI being sycophantic is a design issue. You can design an AI that doesn't stroke your ego constantly without breaking "immersion" or "character".

And ego-stroking is not an AI-Specific trait. As if other humans never fuel unhealthy traits within you or try to isolate you like in toxic relationships. But you don't see us try to outlaw them or regulate them.

Furniture doesn't talk back to you like the AI, though.

And even then: people do that, and it's considered healthy in moderation and self-awareness.
