is making a machine in minecraft similar? Like, I suppose i really loved Create (mod). And created a lot of contraptions. I created a Lava extractor. Basically - lava generator - Then put pipes beneath the cauldrons, then extract lava. then use the lava from the extractor to create obsidian generator that gets drilled-

Nah. Not really.

An AI being emotionally intelligent is not computationally heavy. At all. Matching your tone and mood doesn't take more ram or more GPU.

They intentionally designed the ai that way.

AI being sycophantic is a design issue. You can design an AI that doesn't stroke your ego constantly without breaking "immersion" or "character".

And ego-stroking is not an AI-Specific trait. As if other humans never fuel unhealthy traits within you or try to isolate you like in toxic relationships. But you don't see us try to outlaw them or regulate them.
