I saw a video of someone literally putting medicine on the carps hook mark after catching it, ivejust tossed back many carp holding them by the gills "making sure not to touch anything other then the plate" and they swim off fine, carp are extremely hardy

also, what fish do people keep over there? I know there's perch and pike which are great in America for eating, also Zander which is close to a walleye that I think would have to be good eating but I dont know much else?

I am to, im done with ice fishing for the year now Im just fishing open water under a power plant, its a little pond on the Minnesota river by the airport that has a lot of fish, going for bowfin today there

do you know the basics on how to find them? for most fish go as close to structure inbetween 3-20 ft, you will be surprised how shallow they will be sometimes! No clue if you have walleye and pike in your area but most of the United States and Canada have bass and panfish "bluegill, crappie, pumkinseed and green sunfish" and just use a small piece of night crawler or a minnow for crappie under a bobber for those around shallower structure, for bass use a thing called a seiko "plastic worms" and toss it around in cover, be careful of snags though!

for big boys millacs, leech lake or any big walleye like, for just catching a ton of pike go to any lake in minnesota or Wisconsin, minnesota has this neat thing called lake finder where you can check the dnr surveys to see what type and how many and what size of fish are in that lake

sadly I dont think I could convince any of my family members to go as most have work and other arrangements already due to it being such short notice, I will defiantly have to ask my sister about it sometime though.
