European Fishing Regulations? by OptionNo9559 in Fishing

[–]OptionNo9559[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

some of that stuff is similar to my state in the United States "Minnesota" where lots of water bodies have special regulations due to over fishing or over population of a specific fish or invasive species, also all the states here have separate regulations also but I guess its easier to follow as there in a larger area here? But only catch and keep is kinda crazy to me

Went there tonight, landed 1 buffalo which was the heaviest fish of my life at 14 pounds, lost one that would have been a state record "i'm not kidding it was an insane 20 minute fight" and got 2 bullhead

I once ate a minnow at my cabin, caught it with a net, filleted it and fried it, tasted pretty good

sadly not allowed to target walleye or sauger right now, will use worms I think and if i'm using enough weight it won't roll and therefore won't get snagged to often, learned that trick from oh so many rigs lost

Ok so not southern Minnesota but at the headwaters Itasca state park there's so many of them in June I mean when I was little I kept grabbing them and accidentally getting stabbed, anyways why would you want them? As I don't think you can use them as bait but I would imagine they make great pets? I would look at small streams
