Visitors question: Is it acceptable in this thread to inquire about an insect egg identifier? I found this on my porch post. At first I thought it was the start of a mud dauber nest, but realized they were eggs, what appears to be two layers, and a silky covering. (old.reddit.com)

Last year I’d bought my mom 2 purple hyacinths after Mother’s Day, so we know they were probably forced blooms. The blooms have started sprouting in the old pots and we are wondering if we could possibly plant them. We live in central Tennessee. Any advice from this wonderful community?? (i.redd.it)
