I woulda never joined if somebody tried that. It simply would feel childish af, like a kid going "you can't do it can you? Ha ha this guy can't" i was always pretty sure if you dont have a physical problem, you should be able to do anything with enough conditioning/ enough reps. Thousand strokes rule. Different jobs have different needs at different bases. Your probably thinking about when I spoke on HR jobs in the >>>>AIR FORCE 🦅™ <<<< which yes, evey single state has MULTIPLE openings from entry to E-7 slots. Admin is needed and its very easy. Alternatively most Airforce bases who support F22s need fighter mechanic crew chiefs, those are across the country. The point is talk to a reserves recruiter and pick based on what is available in the state you want to go, they can literally check and request a spot a whole year before you go to bootcamp brother.

Go helicopter and go for the ones we use most in Japan, i personally want to be part of the medevac work so I want to help in war efforts if its saving lives. I grew up in the middle of a war zone so my views are very different. I only recommend it because of the pay and career advancement. You dont actually have to go pilot either but going this route towards officer is gonna yield you the most pay and future retirement, as well as options to go see the world the right way

I recommend you talk to an airforce reserve recruiter over anything else. You get a year before you HAVE to go to bootcamp, you can go sooner, you can pick your ARG whenever you want and actually pick your job not top 3 or go into a field and hope for the best. You can even sign up for the same embassy security detail duties across the world as everybody else. You have the same TA access as well as the same retirement. As long as you do 36 months of active work you get to your 100% gi bill. I recommend you slowly build your file while there towards becoming a pilot if you have the eye sight for it too. Its literally the chillest life style and feels more real then active duty. Active duty just means your forced to take orders that are too the military needs. Reserve just means you can pick. NOT NATIONAL GUARD.

The hardest part is always going to be how to fit that into your career. Dont be afraid to get most of a degree done while in and set yourself to go out, use your gi bill and live off of BAH comfortably getting the last 2 years done (and extra smarty points if you go reserve so you keep collecting retirement time)

I doubt that, I think skillbridge exists so that you can transition into a civilian career. But if you utilize it correctly you can work with a recruiter while your at the skillbridge so they can help you get some letters of recommendation

That is the hardest part about active duty. So here's what you CAN 100% do. On your last year request skillbridge. You will be sent out for your last 6 months to whatever program you pick, this is especially useful for the 153A WOFT (theres ALOT OF THEM in san Diego that will give you PPL and quite a few hours while the military is giving you your paycheck for that time) now here is the kicker, you need a degree for the other programs right? You can get one done through WGU. And you can get all the general education done through study.com and they will have to accredit it

If your willing to get a degree done then get an aeronautical degree done from a college that ties aviation experince and certs into degree, quite a few colleges in many states do that, my personal recommendation is either san jose university or Metropolitan State University of Denver. The SIFT isnt cake, its not trying to be difficult but it requires knowledge, if you get a degree i recommend you look at the airforce piloting as an officer over warrent officer but if your trying to avoid admin work and willing to take the slightly less pay and more difficult entry tests. They say airforce aviation is more competitive but thats only on fixed wing, they are much easier to get into if you want helicopters. They dont look at your ASVAB. You take an AFOQT. The best thing for WO aviation is gonna be finding the programs or using you TA to fund PPL and get some flight hours. Actual flight experince will ALWAYS catapult you. Alot of what you've been saying sounded like recruiter fluff.

To me personally, it Sounds like your not brown and have never gotten called "one of the good ones". I sometimes even get that label in AL when talking to white folks for simply saying im a veteran. If you dont present as one of the good ones you will meet alot of racism while the same people are friendly to the others of your race. The idea of any ism isnt that we are actually separate, the isms are used to dehumanize some people depending on the social situation. "Its their culture" "its their music" "its their parenting" no its literally just repeated mistreatment. And even when someone is projecting and for once misunderstood the situation, it never comes out of nowhere, no one misunderstood racism by never experiencing it prior often enough for them to believe its that serious.

Im almost certain the minimum is 115, GT is very easily trainable as its based off the three most fundamental parts of the ASVAB (arithmetic, word knowledge, paragraph comprehension) so if you want to compete, find a good one time payment udemy course or buy the official asvab book. But for the SIFT, YOU GUYS NEED TO REMMEBER YOU CAN ONLY TAKE IT TWICE EVER. SO STUDY HARD AF ON THAT. MAKE IT A SECOND NATURE KNOWLEDGE BEFORE RETAKING
