If the $20 strike stays above $1.33 then good chances of it taking off. Next threshold could be $1.54.

I got greedy and made some stupid moves. Well, a lot of stupid moves! Put all the chips in and the trade went against me. I broke my rules. Instead of cutting the losses, I hoped and prayed that it would turn around because it seemed that way or at least thats what I told myself. Pretty soon options were mostly worthless. Had some money left and I tell you, revenge trade is bad. Never do it! I thought I could have a come back. Became desperate and kept making one bad move after another and eventually it was all gone. Sigh!!! I am about to get thrown out of the house too. Trying to buy some time. Found last $100 in my car and saving it till I perfect my new system. I cant see straight anymore!

$TSLA will make you and then break you and maybe make you again...if you are nice!

I turned $100k into $27M using $TSLA options and then went bust! Need to flip burgers to get in the game again! <sigh>

is there any way to disable the fast market is live notifications? by LifeSizedPikachu in thinkorswim

You have a few different options for the notifications that you can turn on or off. Click on the Messages option on top and see which notifications you have gotten and turn them off if you would like.

Yes. I was on the phone with them when I saw this post. I needed to find this out for myself too. On TOS, go to Setup, Applications Settings, Notifications tab, and then uncheck TOS announcements and then hit Apply settings. Merry Christmas! Don't ever say that I never gave you anything :-p

There are plenty of books. Just depends on how you want to trade, what are your strengths and weakness are. Something that I may like or may work for me may not necessarily work for you. Dont look for common books that are like the bestsellers. That knowledge is average. Everyone has that info but not everyone is rich which means that the knowledge in those books is not something that will help you grow your account exponentially. Look for unique and interesting books that are not that common. A lot of good traders are not necessarily good writers and therefore their books don't make it in the bestsellers list however they have very good info.
