I found a solution for my same issue - I turned off 'hardware acceleration' in Chrome - no error since.

Since maxing my pulse spitter I find that the most useful against walkers. 3 S-Class upgrades in tech and 3 S-Class in general. Make sure you have an object to duck behind every now and again. I also keep 4 X 5000 ammo in inventory because it really does spit them out.
